The inspiration behind our restaurant was born from a deep love for our heritage and a desire to share it with others. As members of the Afghan diaspora who have made Christchurch our home, we felt a strong calling to introduce the richness of Afghan cuisine to a city known for its diversity and openness.
We wanted to blend that energy with the authenticity of Afghan food, creating a place where Christchurch locals and visitors alike could discover something new, delicious, and heartfelt.
It’s in the nature of Afghanistan to live life with a positive tone and to celebrate the invitations that come along in life. Afghan food is so conducive to all of that.
